Lifeline, which thousands of vulnerable people, gets new website

Lifeline, the city council’s personal alarm service, this week launched a brand new website.

The team behind Lifeline supports thousands of vulnerable people every day giving them, their friends and families peace of mind.

Being based in the council’s 24-hour, 365-days-a-year CCTV Control Room means they are on hand to help when it counts.

LifelineDouglas Rattray, the council’s Head of Safer Communities, said: “Lifeline can be for anyone who wants the reassurance someone is there at the touch of a button – people at risk of falling, vulnerable or anxious people living alone, people with certain medical conditions or a disability and people being discharged from hospital.

“Having a personal alarm can make all the difference to your life, giving you the security, freedom and independence to live in your own home.”

Lifeline costs as little as £3.08 per week with free installation.

CCTV Control Room manager Colin Perris said: “Lifeline provides the security of never being alone during an emergency because it is a reassuring link to the outside world.

“My team of professionals is based in Canterbury, is available 24 hours a day and has more than 20 years’ experience

“We have a 99% customer satisfaction rate and we pride ourselves on our reputation and the high-quality friendly and caring service we provide.”
