Life Planning service available to all over 50s!

Ageless Thanet are delighted to announce that our Life Planning service is now available to all residents over 50 across the whole of Thanet.

The Life Planning offers 1-1 support to anyone who is going through a particularly difficult time. They can support you across a diverse range of issues such as bereavement, adjusting to retirement, becoming a carer, or a change in your physical health. Our Life Planners are there to work with you, understand your needs and wants now and for the future, and develop a bespoke plan of action just for you. We want to give you the help, support and confidence you need to adapt to the things in your life that are proving a challenge, allowing you to enjoy life.

We are excited that we now have fully qualified volunteer Champions out in their respective communities, signposting people to services and activities.

Our Champions are our eyes and ears in the community, campaigning for positive change, as well as listening to residents’ needs. If you are a Thanet resident who is 50 plus and are interested in helping to make a difference within your community, or would like to be linked with your local Ageless Thanet Champion, please do not hesitate to contact the Project Co-ordinator – Kay Byatt on 07951 633110.

You are now able to sign up for your Age-Friendly ‘Reward’ Card which entitles you to any discounts being offered by our Age-Friendly Businesses. We will be launching an Age-Friendly Business App where you will be able to see what businesses are offering for people over 50.
