Local list consultation underway

We have launched a consultation regarding the validation of planning applications.

Since 2008 we have been required to publish a list of information which is needed before we can ‘validate’ planning applications.

This validation list forms two components:

1. National requirements including the application form, the fee, certificates etc.
2. Specific local validation requirements known as the ‘local list’.

Braintree District Council adopted its current local list in February 2015 but it is now out for review.
