K&CH League of Friends Summer Fair…and Fun Dog Show

Summer Fair

The League of Friends of the Kent & Canterbury Hospital will be holding its annual Summer Fair on Saturday 18th August 2018 in the outpatients’ car park at the hospital.

The Summer Fair will be opened by the Lord Mayor of Canterbury, Cllr Colin Spooner, at 11am and will run until 2pm when the grand draw with a top prize of £1,000 will take place.

This year, the fair will again include the  fun dog show with lots of entry categories including ‘the waggiest tail’ as well as a children’s art competition with  entries from three local primary schools.

In addition to the familiar stalls selling books, DVDs, local produce, etc., there will be a wide range of other entertainments, including a brass band, a coconut shy, Punch and Judy and, especially for the children, a bouncy castle and face painting. Food from the barbecue, refreshments and ice cream will also be available.

All funds raised by the fair will be used by the K&CH League of Friends to buy equipment and other gifts benefitting patients and staff at the hospital. For further information, please call Lynne Bannon on 01227 864030 or email: [email protected]
