The Google Digital Garage Bus is coming to town – so get on board and learn how to harness the internet to boost your skills.

Havant Borough Council has partnered with Google, to support individuals in digital, confidence, business and vocational skills training online.

The bus will be stopping outside St Faith’s Church on Friday 8 November from 9am and will offer one-to-one sessions as well as three bookable workshops to take part in.

The sessions include:

  • Keep Your Family Safe Online – 10am – 11am
  • Build a CV & Cover Letter – 12pm – 1pm
  • Digital Marketing Strategy – 2.pm – 3.30pm

These will be complemented by separate 30-minute drop-in sessions about writing for social media. There’s no need to book for these; just turn up.

Councillor Lulu Bowerman, Cabinet lead for People and Communications said: “This is a great opportunity for anyone who is keen to learn or brush up on their digital skills.  The free face-to-face training is designed for all ages and abilities.”
