Faversham literary festival competition winners announced.
This year heralded the first ever Faversham Literary Festival and now they have announced the winners of the Faversham literary short story competition 2018 (17+).
The inaugural Faversham Literary Festival 2018 was held on Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th February, with a varied programme of events and activities for book lovers of all ages, there was also author talks, discussions, creative workshops and spoken word events.
The short story competition was judged by the Senior Commissioning Editor at Bloomsbury Publishing Alexa von Hirschberg.
The prizes were prize £100 plus £100 of books from Bloomsbury Publishing for First place and £50 plus £50 of books from Bloomsbury Publishing for the runner up.
Winner: Love in idleness, by Sarah Evans, Welwyn Garden City
Runner-up Prize: Listening In, by Anna Stanford, Faversham
