Four Elms Hill – Have your say on our Air Quality Action Plan

Medway Council declared a new (fourth) Air Quality Management Area at Four Elms Hill, Chattenden in October 2017. The council is now required to develop an Air Quality Action Plan for the area to work towards improving the air quality.

Do you regularly commute through Four Elms Hill? We would like to get the views of residents, local businesses and stakeholders on what they feel are the issues, and what measures could be implemented to work towards improving the air quality in Four Elms Hill.

A copy of our current Action Plan for the Central Medway, Pier Road, Gillingham, and High Street Rainham Air Quality Management Areas can be found here.

Complete our short survey on the action plan here before Thursday, 28 February and give us your views.

Shared Lives

You can make a real difference to someone’s life as a Shared Lives carer.

Shared Lives is a flexible paid role which isn’t like other caring jobs. As a Shared Lives carer, you will support an adult who you have got to know first and who you know will fit in with your family circumstances. In addition whoever you care for will have chosen you too!

Many Shared Lives carers say caring for someone in this way is like extending your family. And, just like family, you get to share lots of experiences, you get to see that person developing and building their independence. It’s hugely rewarding.

To find out more come and chat to the team when the visit Walderslade Village Library from 9.30am on Tuesday, 19 February, email [email protected] or phone 01634 337100
