Donations of Equipment to Local Sports & Community Groups

The current Dover Leisure Centre on Townwall Street in Dover closes on Sunday, 17 February ahead of the opening of the new Dover District Leisure Centre on Monday, 25 February.

There a number of items of sports and ancillary equipment from the current leisure centre that will not be required at the new centre.  We are making these items available free of charge for donation to community groups in the district.  This includes sports equipment, tables and chairs.

Viewing

We are holding an open day for you to come and view the items at the Dover Leisure Centre on Townwall Street on Tuesday, 19 February (10am to 4pm). You are invited to book a 15 minute slot to view the available items.  This will be on a first-come-first served basis.  Please e-mail [email protected] to book a slot.

Once all the viewing slots are booked, we will create a reserve list.  Groups on the reserve list will be contacted by 3pm on Monday, 18 February if a slot becomes available.

Groups without a confirmed time slot will not be able to view the items available.

Collection

All of the items will be free of charge.  They can be taken away on the day, or collected by 2pm on Wednesday, 20 February (please arrange this at time of viewing).
