Open events to discuss Essex community future

Navy flyover

Essex County Council are holding events across the county to discuss Essex community future plans and ideas.

Please come along to one of a series of events happening throughout the rest of March and share your ideas and discuss Essex community needs, what role libraries can play and how local people can make it happen.

Libraries are so much more than places to borrow books. They’re also places where people can come together to learn, socialise and access all kinds of services and activities. So far, we’ve had ideas about setting up art galleries, community cinemas and exploring how libraries and other organisations can share space. So come and share your local knowledge and creative ideas for change so we can future proof libraries and create a service that’s relevant and sustainable. VIDEO available here

Events run from 7pm to 9pm and include a panel conversation and four action zones on different themes: community heart, getting involved, innovation and front door to services. Book your free place now by clicking on one of these links:
