Consultation on Chailey Parish Council’s Neighbourhood Plan

Chailey Neighbourhood Plan

Chailey Parish Council has submitted its Neighbourhood Plan to Lewes District Council and the plan is now out for public consultation under Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended).

The Chailey Neighbourhood Plan includes polices on:

  • housing (but does not allocate sites)
  • design
  • natural environment
  • landscape
  • heritage
  • community infrastructure
  • transport
  • the economy, and
  • sustainability.

If adopted, the policies in in the plan would be used to determine planning applications in the Neighbourhood Area. The plan also identifies local green spaces.
