How are you celebrating the Royal Wedding?

How are you going to Celebrate the Royal Wedding this weekend?

Gather your bunting and cucumber your sandwiches, it’s royal wedding time! But what is going on in Kent to celebrate? Below we have a handy guide of just a few of the parties going on across the county.

Whether you’re a football fan, a royalist or just want an excuse for a good old fashioned party, there’s a good variety of things going on across the country, and Kent is no exception.

  • Dreamland, Margate

Celebrate the marriage of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, plus the FA Cup Final, all packaged in the form of a Dreamland Street Party!
⚽💒

Pitch up in front of our giant screen to watch a live screening of the festivities, partake in some giant outdoor “Foot Pool” tables (football meets pool) and perhaps receive a blessing from our resident vicar in the inflatable church.

We will be offering free entry and an unlimited ride wristband to anyone who has the name Harry or Meghan* (various spellings permitted, must present valid ID) or to anyone wearing a wedding dress. There will be a mass bouquet toss for the chance to win a meal at Cinque Ports in Margate, as well as plenty of photo opportunities with fun props

  • Morelli’s, Broadstairs

In honour of the biggest event this year…the Chelsea Flower Show…I mean the Royal wedding…Morellis have created a rather majestic Dessert Guide to mark this historical event.

Here are our favourite treats to mark the big day!

  1. Banana Royale – A dessert fit for a King.
  2.  Morelli’s Bacio – The Duchess of desserts!
    3. Royal Kiss – Exclusively created for the Royal couple!
    4. Pasqulina Box – A ‘must-have’ treat for anyone throwing Royal celebration.
    5. La Dolce Vita- ‘What happily ever afters’ are made of!

On the night of his wedding, Prince Harry will no doubt be a bit of an ‘Eton Mess’ but, we wish the Royal couple a life time of happiness together and if everything fails, we always have our Banana Split

  • Hever Castle

You can celebrate the royal wedding in true royal style in Hever Castle’s Moat Restaurant, where the wedding will also be screened.

Again, anyone with the name Harry or Meghan/Megan gets free entry.

Inside the restaurant, there will be elderflower and lemon cupcakes with white chocolate mascarpone topping especially made to replicate the wedding cake.
