Castle Concerts update

We are pleased to confirm that AGMP Ltd has taken over the full running of Castle Concerts, which will be held in Rochester Castle Gardens, in July 2020.

Medway Council will no longer be running the concerts. We are pleased they will continue this year and at no cost to the taxpayer.

Cllr Howard Doe, Portfolio Holder for Community Services at Medway Council, said: “We are pleased that Castle Concerts will still be taking place in Medway this summer and that AGMP Ltd have come up with a line-up of diverse acts for the summer series.

“With much experience in running large music events, AGMP Ltd is keen to build on the popularity of Castle Concerts and we are particularly pleased that the company is offering local bands and singers the opportunity to perform on stage at this year’s Castle Concerts to showcase local talent.

“We are pleased our residents can continue to enjoy live performances from international performers on their doorstep and at no cost to the council taxpayer.

“We wish AGMP Ltd every success with the concerts this summer.”
