Bonus prizes awarded to Havant Borough Community Lottery winners!

Havant Borough Council has awarded the bonus prizes to six lucky winners following the September big draw of Havant Borough Community Lottery.

The lucky players from the special incentive prize draw are:

Mr R who won a family day pass at Butser Ancient Farm

Mr F who won a voucher for Beaulieu Motor Museum

Mr L who won the prize of two adult tickets for Blue Reef Aquarium

Miss S who won two free children’s tickets to Bird World

Mr C who won the prize of a family swim at Pyramids Centre

Mr V who won a month’s free membership at the Taro Leisure Centre

Mr R, prize winner, said: “I am very pleased to win such an interesting prize of taking family to the Ancient Butser farm, which will be very educational for our grandchildren and somewhere we have not visited.

“I support the Havant Lottery with a view to aiding local organisations affected by gradual cut backs in funding over the years – particularly sports facilities.”

Mr C, prize winner from Southleigh Road, Havant added: “We are very pleased to win a prize as we have not won anything before. We signed up with the Havant Borough Community Lottery to support St Albans School in Havant.”

77 local causes have now signed up and Havant Borough Community Lottery has raised £54,000 for community projects.

Each week there are more than 600 players signed up to the lottery and more than 91,000 tickets have been bought.

Councillor Lulu Bowerman, Cabinet Lead for People and Communications, said: “We are delighted with the result of the September prize draw of Havant Borough Community Lottery.

“It’s a fantastic initiative as 60 per cent of the money your tickets raise goes to community groups and organisations that benefit the people living in our area.”

Special drop in sessions are available for anyone who is involved with a local good cause and would like more information on how the Havant Borough Commuinity Lottery can help raise funds.  Just pop into the Plaza on one of the dates below to find out more.
