Bin collections following the May bank holidays in Lewes

There will be no refuse collections in Lewes district on Early May bank holiday Monday 6 May and on the Spring bank holiday Monday 27 May.

Refuse and food waste collections will take place one day later than usual during these two weeks. Recycling and garden waste collections will take place according to your collections calendar, if you do not have one you can download your recycling collection calendar.

Please always put your bin out at the edge of your property by 6am on the advertised day of collection (unless you have an assisted collection).

If not collected on the advertised day of collection, please leave your bin out for collection the following day.

Normal collection days resume from Monday 29 April.
