Get Up and Go with Havant Borough Council

Havant residents are invited to come along and enjoy an exciting and friendly game of cricket, at a pace that suits everyone.

Havant Borough Council’s ‘Get up and Go’ have partnered up with Right at Home and Horizon Leisure Centre to bring dementia friendly cricket sessions to the residents of Havant Borough who are aged 55 and above.

This is an opportunity for all, carers and people who may have dementia, to come along and enjoy a light-hearted game of cricket while meeting new people from the area. No running required!

After the game, sit down, relax and have a chat with other residents. Hot drinks will be provided for you to enjoy.

Sessions take place every Wednesday at 2pm in the sports hall at Horizon Leisure Centre, Havant, PO9 2AY and last for one hour.

Entry is just £2 per person which you can pay on arrival or book online at https://www.getupandgohavant.com/events/cricket-dementia-friendly/
