Warming Up The Homeless (WUTH) is an essential local charity operating in Bexhill, Hastings and Eastbourne that offers much needed help and support to those who are often at the lowest ebb of their lives. WUTH is about so much more than just their outreach projects helping rough sleepers. They work with people who are in housing difficulties of all types, whether in abusive relationships, hostels, sofa surfers or trapped in a cycle of mental health decline. WUTH get out there and help where it really matters whether it is creating 600 hot meals a week, providing basic furniture, putting people in touch with social support mechanisms or rescuing abused women and children. Trudy Hampton and her team are an inspiration to us all and Bexhill Chamber are very proud to support WUTH as our Annual Charity Gala beneficiaries for 2021.
