Found in a private location, just off the High Street, The Boogie Barber is a hidden gem.
Having only opened in May 2023, Aarron, The Boogie Barber already boasts a clean 5* rating, with almost 100 individual reviews between platforms.
Trained at Total Barber Academy, London, with advanced training at The London School of Barbering, Aarron brings London quality cuts to Birchington, with plans for 2024 to further his training still at the world renowned Schorem Barbershop in Rotterdam. Putting his customers’ experience first, Aarron is already popular among his clients and has a diverse and loyal client base, from Rockabillies and 40’s and 50’s enthusiasts, to modern day Mods, Skin Fades and more, with some clients travelling from as far as Chatham and London on a regular basis for his unique style and skill set.
The Boogie Barber uses an appointment system, as Aarron prefers to take time to really get to know his clients’ needs and give each person time to hone and perfect their cut, while still keeping his prices very competitive.
The Boogie Barber offers all barber services, including standard cuts and skin fades, longer hair and full restyles with an optional wash service, beard trims and styling, traditional cut throat shaves, hot towel services and more.
His shop is known for its quirky 1950’s interior style, with a collection of vinyl records for customers to play while they wait. He has also recently launched his own clothing brand, with Boogie Barber Drill Shirts and T-Shirts to start, with plans to expand the range and also eventually introduce his own range of hair and beard products. Aarron also offers the option to request a quiet environment for those with sensory issues and is more than happy to discuss any special requirements prior to an appointment.
The Boogie Barber is passionate about our local community and has already supported a number of local charities with raffle donations and free cuts, and is currently looking at working with a local veterans charity to support the needs of our service men and women.
