A recent call out for local artists of any age and experience has led to a beautiful display in an Epple Bay shelter in Birchington.
The call out asked for residents to paint a picture for the Epple Bay shelter and requested they take a white primed board from the box provided at the shelter, put their first name and age on the painting and return it. After this, local resident Mike cleared the box daily and fixed the paintings to the wall which allowed passing residents, families and friends to enjoy the beautiful artwork on display.
Thank you to everyone who took part, and to everyone behind the scenes who made this happen. It’s a wonderful community engagement project that only makes our village an even brighter place to be. Thank you to Paul Davies for supplying the wonderful photos.
