It’s commonplace now to find stunning shots of our beautiful surroundings filling a page or two of your CommunityAd magazine. For a relatively small community we’re blessed with a plethora of photographers and people eager to document its beauty, more often than not those photographers go by the names of Sharon and Amanda or collectively as Shamanda.
Shamanda have merged not just their names but also have combined their picture-perfect photos with poems for their book which has gone down a Eunice (or Storm, as we used to say) with the locals selling out. CommunityAd checked in with Shamanda to give us the scoop, the lowdown, the latest on their beautiful Bridge moments.
“Sharing our photos on the Bridge Facebook page is always a pleasure and getting positive feedback is very rewarding and very much appreciated. Over the course of 2021 we had several lovely comments encouraging us to produce a book and so Sharon and I decided to give it a go just before Christmas.
“We spent several weeks working hard to design a 24 page, A5 book to showcase some of our best loved photos, including popular prose and poems, which give a little insight into the passion, patience and emotions that go into our photos.
“We were amazed & thrilled that the first print run sold so quickly with a second run proving just as popular. Now on our third print run we are managing to keep up with demand and would like to thank everyone that has supported our new venture into the world of print. We have really enjoyed the experience and look forward to creating more books in the future.
