Whilst many of us are still missing the Christmas festivities and unbridled joy it spreads to family and friends alike, many household traditions will have included a competitive game or two round the table.
The competitive rivalry, the never ending game that gets played into the early hours of the morning, the highs of winning paired with the lows of suffering what looked like a certain victory snatched from the jaws of defeat. In addition to this, the family bonding and, importantly, time spent away from our phones are more reasons why we don’t only have to play games at Christmas: fear not as this March you can get back into that competitive spirit!
Join Overton Dramatic Society in St Mary’s Hall, for an ODS games night with fun pub games including bar skittles, shove ha’penny, darts, and rolling £1 to win a bottle. ODS will be rounding off the evening with a short fun quiz. The fun starts at 6:00pm, and they aim to have a break at 8:00pm for food, resuming at 9:00pm for the quiz portion of the evening.
The evening is a “bring your own” format for drinks and food. Organise your own teams (maximum of 6). Or come on down and join one on the night. Look out for ticket information on the ODS Facebook page and website.
