Looking After Your Mental Health

This year has been difficult for us all, and it’s understandably had an affect on our mental health. If you are struggling, there is support available for you and various ways you can reach out for help.

Livewell has a large collection of mental health resources and contact details for support services. Visit the Livewell website.

Walking and Cycling Through Autumn

Autumn is here and Stop.Swap.GO! is continuing to support Essex residents to build long term sustainable travel habits towards walking, cycling and using the bus.

As the evenings get a bit darker and chillier, Stop.Swap.GO! will be working closely with the Safer Roads Essex Partnership (SERP) to share up to date information on keeping safe and seen as you get out and about.

Families and young people are also encouraged to keep walking and cycling to school or college, particularly as nature’s colours begin to change. Your usual route will soon look completely different and what better way to take it all in than a daily stroll or cycle?

The Stop.Swap.GO!website is packed with information to help families avoid traffic chaos at peak times. With helpful routes outlined for each school or college and ‘Drive and Drop’ zones highlighted to reduce congestion at the gates.
