The Big Wrap – We support families in the community of Tenterden and the surrounding villages to have an enjoyable Christmas who may be experiencing difficult times by providing gifts, festive items and food vouchers.

Fundraising

This is very much a community appeal as we fundraise in collaboration with St Mildred’s and other local churches to provide food vouchers and ask for donations of gifts for children up to the age of 19 and foodbank donations, including festive treat items.

With funds raised we also ensure each family has a personal Christmas Sack which includes gifts for all the children, chocolates, biscuits and Christmas Crackers so they do not need to then spend their food vouchers on these treat items.

Gifts, Hygiene and Foodbank Donations

Our main donation event will be held on Saturday 5^th December 2020 where we hope to invite all in Tenterden and surrounding areas to bring gifts, hygiene and food items to Highbury Hall but TBC given rules regarding COVID-19 may change so we will update everyone nearer the time.

Our wonderful local Infant and Junior schools also support the Big Wrap by appealing for gifts at the same time.

This combined effort provides an amazing number of gifts and food vouchers to be given to families.
