Lots of fun on the decorated train with activity packs, games and a bucket a spade for each child. Cost £5 an adult and £3 per child.

Catch the train at Colchester Station and travel on the train to Walton-on-the-Naze where you can enjoy the beach and the pier. Catch any train back leaving you to enjoy the day without the worry of driving, congestion and parking the car.

Our popular bucket and spade trains are running again from Colchester station to Walton on the Naze during the summer holidays!

Dates are Tuesday August 2nd, 16th, and 30th, leaving Colchester Station at 09.56 hrs arriving in Walton on the Naze at 10.49.

Once at Walton the day is yours to explore the town, walk on the beach and maybe walk up to the Naze as well as walking along the pier.

Trains return hourly from the station which is a 10 minute walk from the beach.

The trains will be decorated in a seaside theme and children will get a free bucket and spade as well as activities on the train.
