Heart of Kent Hospice Brighton Marathon 2021

The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK’s most popular marathons and is a great alternative to London. Feel the sea breeze as you take on this ever-popular event in a fantastic city.

The route starts with a loop of gorgeous Preston Park and then takes in the best of the city centre, including Brighton Pavilion. You’ll also run on fabulous stretches of coastal road, with all the panoramic views that you’d expect as the glorious South Downs meet the English Channel.

We currently have no charity places available for the 2021 marathon but please contact Emma at emma.greenwood@hokh.co.uk if you would like to register your interest for any places that do become available for the event.

Got your own place?

If you have already been awarded a ballot place in the Brighton Marathon then you can still join the Heart of Kent team as an own place runner. You get to set your own fundraising target and still get the support from Heart of Kent Hospice.

If you would like to be an Own place runner for Heart of Kent Hospice then complete the Own place application form and set up your fundraising page here to get you started!

2020 event cancelled, new date now 18 April 2021

If you were due to run the Brighton Marathon this year you will be contacted by Brighton Marathon Weekend regarding your next steps but here is a quick breakdown of the facts regarding your place:

  • Every runner with a secured place in the Brighton Marathon September 2020 event will be offered the opportunity to roll over their place to 2021.
  • If you are a Heart of Kent Hospice charity place runner your place is safe, it will roll over to the 2021 event and we will continue to support you with both your running and fundraising. If you are unable to make the 2021 date please contact Emma on emma.greenwood@hokh.co.uk
