The Ramsgate International Film and TV Festival returns

The Ramsgate International Film and TV Festival is returning to Thanet for it’s second year this Thursday, March 15th-18th.

Now in it’s second year, The Ramsgate International Film and TV festival is back and bigger than ever.

As well as the screening of over 50 films, there will also be an opening ceremony, various talks and even an awards ceremony at the end. The showings combine some of the best Indie films as well as screenings of local projects, many of which that have not been seen before.

The Festival focus is to show new works, help promote film makers but also bring a different screening experience and encourage the local audience to view and appreciate independent cinema. Screenings are complemented by a strong line-up of quality events and seminars, with industry professionals of high reputation.

All screenings are chosen by the Selection Committee, which is composed of a panel of industry professionals and local residents. The festival’s Patron is none other than the BAFTA, Globe and Cannes Best Actress Winner and Oscar nominated and local Ramsgate girl Brenda Blethyn, and she will be selecting the winner of the First Feature Film category.
