Appeal for witnesses to Dartford assault

Officers investigating a report of a Dartford assault in Orchard Street, Dartford, are appealing for witnesses.

The Dartford assault is reported to have happened between 10pm and 11pm on Tuesday 3 April.

A man is alleged to have pushed a woman into the street, before chasing her to a nearby car park and kicking her to the floor.

She then is reported to have suffered further kicks and punches to her legs and arms.

A 38-year-old man from Gravesend has been arrested in connection with the offence. However officers are appealing for witnesses to gain further information.

They would especially like to speak to a man who stopped the assault and then helped the woman back to her home address.

The 38-year-old arrested in connection with the offence has been released on bail until Tuesday 1 May.
