Life at CommunityAd -It’s a full house!
Have you heard? IT’S COMING HOME!!! CommunityAd has had a full house of excited fans following our 4-0 win against Ukraine last Saturday! Not going to lie, we were all a bag of nerves during England’s semi-final against Denmark but we pulled it out the bag! Another win!
This week’s football success has also been reflective in our working week in the office. With plenty of new advertisers coming on-board and existing advertisers rebooking their advertising with us, everybody has been bouncing about the place all week. The fantastic moods have definitely been helpful for the sales team who have been hard at work, battling out for this week’s competition prize- three tickets to Bongo’s Bingo! Now if you’ve never been to a Bongo’s Bingo event, and you’re a fan of drinking AND a fan of bingo, you’re missing out! I’ve been a few times and I can definitely say, it is THE definitive bingo experience. A full house at bingo, dance-offs, raves and the chance to win a Henry Hoover!! What else could you want!! A huge congrats to James for winning this week’s comp!
We’ve heard it on the grapevine that there’s yet another exciting sales competition next week so keeping our ears on the ground for that!
In other news, our sausage roll expert Niki has been keeping our bellies full with more of her celebratory sausage rolls this week, ones with onion and ones with no onion for the fussier ones (Georgia!) Thanks Niki! What’s on the menu for next week?
More exciting news, we’ve had a couple new members join the team this week which is always good fun! Alice, Ryan, welcome to the family! We hope you’ve had a great first week with us! Following on from the rumours last week, yes, they were absolutely true! Kelly has now announced our annual summer cocktail company event will take place in a couple of weeks! Everyone is over the moon with this news…we cannot wait to finish work at 11am and have a social with all our colleagues, old and new! And…apparently, we have some surprise entertainment in store for us!
A special mention goes to Chloe this week for doing an AMAZING job handling our social media accounts. Chloe has had the busiest week interacting with all our followers and informing you all of the latest news and events in every community and she’s doing a great job! Well done Chlo!
Our editorial team have been enjoying themselves, writing stories of interest for upcoming publications. Matt had the opportunity to interview female boxer Lucy Wildheart from Brentwood this week who went into detail about their recent professional fight taking place in a Ghanaian car park. Lucy won the fight but it was amusing to hear a professional fight took place in a car park with Azumah Nelson in attendance who is a former world champion and Ghana’s most successful boxer.
The publishing side of our business has run smoothly this week with plenty of books going to print, ones to lookout for coming through your door soon are Burgess Hill, Overton & Oakley, and Romney Marsh!
So…here’s to the weekend and the England final, here’s to hoping that it goes as smoothly as our week at work and it’s a full house of wins!
