Giraffe Hall at Port Lympne – Coming Soon!

What with this year being one of the most bizarre in living memory, we really could do with something to cheer us all up.  Giraffe Hall at Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve could be the perfect antidote.

Holidays aplenty have had to be postponed or cancelled due to the (dare we even utter the word?) COVID-19 outbreak meaning there’s been little sanctuary to just ‘get away from it all’.  There is, however, hope for the future.  Whether you prefer to holiday in your own country or abroad, the new Giraffe Hall can give you the experience of both.

The experience at Giraffe Hall will offer accommodation in a 15th century stately home whilst giving you the authentic African Experience with panoramic views, whilst the restaurant – Lapa – will serve an African inspired buffet and brai,  cooked on an open firepit.  Fresh local produce is always on offer here, picked fresh round the corner from Port Lympne’s sister sanctuary, Howletts.

Once you’ve had your fill of exploring the 600 acres the reserve has to offer – whether you are in the bedroom of an evening or relaxing in the drawing room – long-necked friends are likely to pop their heads through the window to say hello!  What an exciting experience to be had for all you animal lovers out there.  The accommodation ‘will host 10 bedrooms, with a further 5 luxury cabins nestled within the grounds. The interiors, designed by Victoria Aspinall, will retain many of the original features for the perfect blend of traditional charm and safari adventure.’
