Get eggcited about the Mayor’s Easter Eggstravaganza

Enjoy a slice of cake and see who will be crowned as the borough’s best baker at the Mayor of Havant’s Easter Eggstravaganza – held in aid of his charities.

This free eggciting event is being held as part of the Community Coffee Cup event at Westbrook Hall, Tempest Avenue, Cowplain, on Saturday 20 April from 10am – 12noon.

There will be fun for all the family with a charity raffle, Easter egg rolling and bowling for children, the chance to get creative by building a magical Easter garden and a special Easter bake off competition – which you can enter!

Whether it’s your beautiful banoffee, fancy fondant or delicious drizzle, your cake could earn you top prize and help a worthy cause.

All you need to do is bake a cake at home and drop it off at Westbrook Hall between 9am – 10am on the day to be in with a chance of winning.

Entries will be judged by the mayor who will decide which cakes are the best, awarding prizes to the winners. The cakes will then be auctioned off with all proceeds going to the mayor’s charities – the Rowans Hospice and Riverside Community Special School.

While you’re there, you can even treat yourself to free refreshments courtesy of St Wilfrid’s Church.
