The B-Group in Odiham: Bumps and Babies

CommunityAd Exclusive - The B-Group in Odiham: Bumps and BabiesThe early days of parenthood can feel oddly lonely, even though you are never on your own.

It can be relentless when you are looking after a small baby, stuck in those three or four hour cycles of feed-change-sleep-repeat. It can really help to be able to share these experiences with others who understand what you are going through, and to hold a conversation with someone who is going to talk back rather than cry or throw up on you!

The B-Group is a friendly drop-in group for anyone who is pregnant up until baby turns one. Come along and meet other new parents – talk to others who will understand how pleased you were to get a straight four hours’ sleep last night, compare notes on what foods you’re going to introduce first when you start weaning or just sit and enjoy a cup of tea and a piece of cake.

As well as our regular group, each term we have a number of themed weeks – this term we have had a couple of craft mornings with painted foot and hand prints for Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, sensory play and a visit from Hart Sling Library.

We meet on Friday mornings, 10:30am to 12 noon, during term time at The Vine Church in Odiham. You can request to join the closed Facebook group (search for ‘The B-Group’) to check when the group is running and the dates for the themed weeks.
