Festability 2024 at Quex Park, Birchington

Join us for Kent’s best accessible music festival right on your doorstep. A live music festival, accessible to all regardless of ability or impairment. Festability is on 15th June at Quex Park, Birchington from 12pm-8pm.

Festability was started in 2018 by a group of parents with disabled children or adults. This is done on a voluntary basis and set up as not-for-profit. Organizers are delighted to be working with Disability Awareness Birchington, a group who are equally as passionate about advocating for local people with disabilities.

Often mainstream festivals are far too noisy and very crowded, with many families feeling like a day out was just impossible or ‘not for them’. The little extras being provided will help make it more accessible and inclusive.

Festability 2024 is as close to other music festivals as possible, but with additional elements including a quiet/chill zone with sensory lights and sounds, a changing places suite with fully accessible/hoisting toilet, BSL signers and a karaoke tent for participation! There is also a fantastic diverse line up of live music, including Hullabaloo and a fabulous Kylie tribute act.

This will be a spectacular event that disabled people may not have had the chance to enjoy before and we encourage everyone to join us to make this a truly inclusive music festival unique to Kent.

Festability 2024 is recruiting volunteers, anyone interested should email [email protected] for full information.
