A fresh new release ahead of a fantastic fundraiser later this year.
The Old Country Crows, based in Deal, write and perform their own songs. The band formed in 2010 and has released three albums and three EPs, culminating in their latest EP The Good Times Are Back Again, which was issued in August 2026.
The Crows are staging a Christmas Show at Northbourne Parish Hall, near Deal, on Saturday 12th December in aid of Cancer Research UK. It will be a night of music and laughter in the festive season, with the aim of raising money for Cancer Research UK. A Grand Draw will be staged on the night, with tickets available to purchase now.
It’s BYOB, so everyone please grab your favourite drinks, bring some nibbles, bring your friends and get ready for a night of music, laughter and fundraising.

The support act will be The Laurel Canyon Appreciation Society, based in Thanet, Kent, formed in early 2025 with the aim of reproducing music from the legendary artists who lived in Laurel Canyon, USA, during the 1960s and 1970s. They are a band of excellent musicians who skilfully recreate the sounds of the golden years of music from the canyon.
The host for the evening will be Paul Tingey. Paul is a natural-born crowd‑warmer with a heart for charity and a knack for comedy. From raising funds and spirits at community events to delivering punchlines on stage, he’s spent years proving that laughter and kindness make the best double act.
It will be a night of music and laughter for a great cause!
The 5 tracks on The Good Times Are Back Again EP were recorded at Magpie Studios in Bethersden, Kent by Charles Creese during February and March 2026 with bass guitarist Josh Hayward making his recording debut with the band. The songs on the EP have evolved from various routes but share one common theme: they all have a country rock, rockabilly, and rock and roll spine. And they make the listener want to get up and move around the dance floor. Featuring some excellent keyboard playing by Liam Gisby, also making his recording debut with the band, the EP bristles with energy from start to finish.
