Head to one of Kent’s most popular woodland country parks and enjoy a day in the great outdoors! Make sure that you pack your winter warmers and wellies as you and the family explore the hour long trail, completing a worksheet and collecting a prize. This is a super way to get moving and burn off some energy this half term whilst learning about the world around us. To take part you can buy the worksheet from the visitor centre on site. https://www.facebook.com/events/297282665608707?ref=newsfeed
Children assemble! Your little ones are going to need super powers to find all of the superheroes hidden in the beautiful gardens of Hall Place and super creativity to design their own superhero costumes! The worksheet is £2.50 to purchase on-site and the completed trail will be rewarded with a chocolate prize! If this sounds like something your little team would enjoy, head to https://bit.ly/3Hksm1s for more information.
Get creative with Maidstone Museum’s crafty half term activities offering your budding Picassos a chance to create either a dinosaur head dress, a Japanese fish kite or a Greek inspired shield! You can book your child a space in the session via the Maidstone Museum website: https://bit.ly/3rgicJw .
Add a sprinkle of fairy dust to your half term with the magical fairy trail around Whitstable Castle’s Gardens. For just £2 per child, you can complete the curated worksheets from the studio and explore the outdoors in search of the fairies. The Castle also has a newly refurbished play area and a tearoom with free parking too, making this a fun and affordable day out!
Get messy this half term with the fan favourite Woodland Clay Creature workshop. Using air drying clay, your little ones can sculpt, squidge and smush the medium into their favourite little animals from around the park. The workshop will be led by the rangers from the park, providing an additional educational element too, all for just £4. For more information, head to https://www.facebook.com/CapstonePark
