Local Businesses come together to launch charity single for Taylor Made Dreams

A group of local businesses have volunteered their musical talent to record and launch a charity single for Taylor-Made Dreams (TMD), a local charity that supports terminally-ill children in Kent, Sussex and Surrey.

The recording of classic Christmas carol; “Silent Night”, was organised and performed by Dave Richardson, owner of Keller Kars based in Southborough, alongside vocals from Emily Brown from Emily Brown Photography, Jane Brown from Pink Spaghetti PA Services and Ina Sylvester- Smith from Arbonne Health & Wellbeing.

Dave explains why he wanted to launch the single; “in 2020 after meeting Suzi I was inspired to do some fundraising for TMD. I set out to host ‘Santa Zooms’ to raise funds and during December 2020 raised over £1,000 for TMD and met lots of wonderful children and their parents along the way. I wanted 2021 to be bigger and better than last year so, with Suzi’s blessing, I started a project to create a Christmas single, again with all funds raised going straight to TMD.”

Dave adds; “to download the Christmas track, simply log onto www.silentnight-tmd.co.uk and select the amount you wish to donate. Once your donation is completed, the song will be sent to you by email. What’s more, supporters who donate £10 or more will also receive a bonus music video which contains some fun behind the scenes footage of the recording session and some touching TMD footage of some very special children.”

Suzi Mitchell, Chief Executive of Taylor Made Dreams comments; “Taylor Made Dreams couldn’t do what we do without volunteers fundraising for us and we are beyond grateful to Dave Richardson of Keller Kars for creating this wonderful project in support of our TMD warriors. We would like to thank everyone for giving their time for free to help make this happen –  the incredible singers along with Alan of Alan Harbord Photography, videographer Simon Burridge of Cherrywood Productions, Gary Brindley of Step 3 Digital for creating the website, Sarah Raine of Colley Raine & Associates for PR support and Simon Taylor of EQ Audio for recording and mixing the track.”
