A bit about Whitstable

Whitstable is a seaside town on the north coast region of Kent in south- east England.
Famous for its Oysters where the town annually holds a 10 day festival in late July with a variety of different food stalls and entertainment.
Whitstable is 5 miles north of Canterbury and 2 miles west of Herne Bay and is twinned with Dainville, France.
The town is known for its cobbled streets and quaint shops and is also a popular location for water sport enthusiasts with the Whitstable Yacht club 113 years old holding regular local and national competitions throughout the year.
Whitstable Town football club play theirhome games at the Belmont ground with a capacity of 3,000, they compete in the Southern Counties East League Premier Division
The only secondary school in Whitstable is The Community College which was formally called the Sir William Nottidge School.
