Swim & Swap with the Walpole Bay Swimmers- Aug 18

Join in for a social swim and a book swap during the Margate Bookie Festival at the Walpole Bay Tidal Pool. Come for a swim at the pool and bring a book to swap with other swimmers on the beach before or after the swim. Simple-win/swim situation!!!

As part of the Bookie Festival a few swimmers are heading to Turner Contemporary at 13.00 to listen to Caitlin Davis talk about the swimming legend that was Daisy Belle. We’re then going to take to the waters at Walpole Bay Tidal Pool for a 15.00 social swim and book swap-come join us for it all!

Meet by the steps down to the beach. By joining in for a social swim you swim at your own risk. The is no lifefguard at this beach. There are no toilets, no lockers, no showers. This pool is wild, free and filled by the sea. Bring the necessary swim stuff plus a book to swap.
