Concert series draws to an end with angelic sounds

Taste and health benefits key reasons for buying organic food

An autumn concert programme held at the University of Kent will conclude with a visit from The Society of the Strange and Ancient Instruments next month.

The society will play some of the instruments which appear in descriptions and depictions of angels through the ages, as well as other strange and ethereal-sounding instruments.

Ministry of Angels

Traditional tunes, dances, songs and carols in celebration of angels, the maverick and fallen, and the divine and perfect, will all be performed in the Colyer-Fergusson Hall on Wednesday, December 6 at 1.10pm.

Admission is free, with a suggested donation of £3. For more information, visit www.kent.ac.uk/music
