A bit about Ramsgate

Ramsgate is a seaside town located in the South East of England and is well known for its sandy beaches, promenades and beautiful coastline. Ramsgate has one of the largest marinas on the south coast and is the only harbour officially allowed to call itself a Royal harbour in the U.K. There are many attractions in the town such as The Ramsgate Tunnels, Seal watching boat trips and the maritime museum. There are also various buildings around the town that have architecture by Augustus Pugin, whose family moved there in 1843. The town has many coffee shops, bars and restaurants situated along the picturesque harbour. The town also has events throughout the year, including Lark in the Park, The Ramsgate carnival, Ramsgate week and a New year’s eve fireworks display.
