Dame Kelly Holmes Trust would like to invite members of local community groups to a free afternoon tea party on Wed 26 April 1pm to 3pm.

About the Kelly Holmes Trust

Every year we get thousands of young lives back on track.

We achieve this by training and developing world class athletes to mentor young people facing disadvantage. This empowers them to realise the attitudes and behaviours needed to lead a positive life.

Our programmes are proven to have a lasting impact on the lives of young people and enable them to become healthy, achieve in education, enjoy career success and take part in meaningful activities.

We target those who need our help most, not those who are easiest to reach – last year we ran programmes for care leavers, homeless people, young offenders, women at risk of sexual exploitation and those living within isolated communities.

Our programmes are only ever delivered by Trust-trained athletes who reached a world class level in their sport – this group are naturally high performing and proven to be exceptional leaders for change in young people and communities.

Over the past four years our programmes have contributed £23 million in social value to the UK economy and transformed the lives of thousands of young people facing disadvantage.

We are currently growing, with young people now able to access the support of a Trust-trained athlete in more areas of the UK than ever before.
