Labrador Rescue Kent and Borders is a Registered Charity (No.1067495) formed in 1997 which aims to recover, rehabilitate and rehome any Labrador Retriever in the County of Kent and its borders that has been ill-treated, neglected or whose owners can no longer keep it.

Why are dogs rehomed?

Many of the Labradors asked to be re-homed, through no fault of their own, go to Labrador Rescue Kent because of changed family circumstances which means that it becomes impossible to keep the dog.  Most have been much loved family pets and are healthy and have been well looked after.  However, some do have problems and may have been mistreated and Labrador Rescue Kent are there to give guidance to adopters.

What is their objective?

To place the right dog in the right home as soon as they can!
